Raghav Sachar (born July 24th, 1981) is an Indian singer and son of R.K. Sachar and Usha Sachar. The youngest of the three children in the family; Raghav was interested in music from a very early age and he started playing music instrument harmonica at an age when he was only 4 yrs old. Raghav plays a number of instruments and plays more than 32 music instruments; he won the best drummer award at the Pepsi Cornucopia contest in 1994 and won the best keyboard player in BITS Pilani. He was also in a band named “Canzona” before proceeding to Berklee College of music, Boston to study in music.
He worked with the Indian pop sensation Viva and Shubha Mudgal on albums for recording jingles and film soundtracks. He was awarded the Golden Key Award and the Earnest Award for academic excellence in 2000 when he was studying music from Berklee College of Music, Boston. Charming Lootera, the title song of his album was pretty successful throughout India.
